Error processing bounced emails

I have a problem when running my CRON.BAT. When it process bounced campaign emails, the DOS prompt screen fills up with huge amounts of data then the following appears:

:MySQL error 2006: MySQL server has gone away

What can I do about this?

This sounds like the mysql dropped the connection. I had this problem only with email. I increased the max packet allowed to 16MB.
