Error When Attempting To Send Mail

Hi
I am getting the following error when I attempt to send an email out from the system.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_encode_mimeheader() in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\bluetoothproximitymarketing.com\ httpdocs\include\Localization\Localization.php on line 307

Can anyone tell me where i am going wrong.

i have read that this may be caused by the mbstrings module not being installed / enabled.

i have also read that you did not need this to be enabled with when the PHP version is > V5.

The PHP version I am using i V5.2.0.
