    Default Excel to sugar?

    Hi

i have no idea about underlying database structure and how it works... we have huge contacts details stored in excel sheet and its really tedious entering it all manually... how can i possibly automate this? Is it possible for importing data from an excel sheet to sugar db?

    Thanks,
    Madhu

If you save the excel files as csv's you can use the standard Sugar import routines

I would say you could use a few tools to automate the process to go from an Excel file and import it into SugarCRM. You can search about Excel files and Sugar on the net. Even though there are many ways to perform this job, the easiest way to do this is going through an ETL tool such as Talend Open Studio.

Talend has made some components to be able to work with Sugar directly from the Talend software. Talend is made for professionals but is easy to use for non-professional users. You can go look at Talend Open Studio here:
