Exdend Emplyees

Hi

I am running a consultant company and are using Sugar for keeing order among my customers. I've startet to think about extend my usage of Sugar.

My idea is to put all my consultant into sugar as Employees. Then I would like to be able to link them to Account/Opportunities and also,, I would like to be able to logg my interactin with a employee in the same way as I logg interacktion (history) with a contact.

Can this be done?,, is it much work?,, is there already a existing plugin?

You could define your Consultants as Contacts with a type of "Consultant" then link them to Opportunities, projects etc.

Or build a custom module called consultants and put all your consultants in there.

Defining them as employees will not work as you cannot asssign multiple employees to an Opportunity
