existing issues...fixed?

I'm rather confused... I installed the latest version of Sugar and I am having issues. I did some searches in the forum and I see that the issues I am having are existing but either "have" been fixed or the thread just ends with no resolution.

I installed 4.5.1f and when I send a test campaign it says it will start sending in August 1996

I also don't get any kind of wysiwyg when I am creating a template in HTML... it is just blank with no field to edit.


Are there a solutions for these issues? How are all of you actually using SugarCRM?

In order to help we would need all the information that is asked for on the screen where you enter the message

Apache or IIS
Versions
MySQL or MSSQL

We could also use things like:
What browser are you using
do you see any javascript errors in your browser (at the bottom)
Are you using a language pack or just English

I tested the version on my server and on the demo server and neither had these issues so I am going to guess it is a problem in your stack somewhere. Either permissions or missing files for the FCKEditor problem and Maybe a default date format issue for the date issue. But without information we really can't help.

I tried this with the version in the Trix-Box image and I tried it installing on a fresh Ubuntu box.

All permissions are 777


I installed beta 5 and I don't get these errors... I just don't want to use a beta
