Experiencing Logout When Using IE

Hi

I'm experiencing a problem with Internet Explorer that doesn't present itself with Firefox.

If I'm editing a lead and wish to assign it to someone I click the 'Select' button next to the 'Assigned to' field and the pop-up window appears with User details. I select a user and the pop-up window disappears and the selected user has been placed into the 'Assigned to' filed of the Lead edit screen. At this point the user has been logged out. If I try to update the Lead I return to the Login form. If I click the 'Assigned to' button again the pop-up window appears with the 'Login form.

I can edit and update other Lead details without a problem so it seems to be associated with the pop-up window. Everything works fine with Mozilla Firefox (so it's not a permissions/roles problem) and I've reset Internet Explorer to it's standard settings – but still no joy.

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

What version of Sugar are you using?

Be sure to have caching disabled in the IE settings...

I tried your scenario on Sugar CE version 5.0.0 build 3095 and couldn't reproduce it. Do you still get the same problem after you changed your IE settings?

I assume you use Windows. Can you share your environment with us? Like web server, database, and php verison.

Version 5.0.0e (Build 3276)

It's running on a shared hosting site with Apache/1.3.34 Ben-SSL/1.55, MySQL5.032 and PHP 4.4.8.

Desktop is Windows XP Pro. IE v 7.0.5730.11

The problems still persists with IE despite changing the settings. Mozilla Firefox works fine. Currently I feel sure that it is something to do with the IE settings.

I'm working in development mode configuring the system to demo to a client next week. Therefore I'll e-maill the URL to you.

Hi Colin,

I don't have an exact environment as yours. The closest one I have is Apache 2.2.6, MySQL 5.0.45, and PHP 4.4.7. I tried it again and still couldn't reproduce it. Please send the URL to me when it is available.
