Export cases module and use to create a new one

Is it possible to export the cases module in sugar so that I can then re-import it and use it as the basis for a new module?

Hi,

Do you want to use "Cases" modules structure or data as a custom module?

If you want to use module structure, then you can make the custom module of type "Issue".

Next problem now. How can I link this new module to the accounts module so that a new item created here can be assigned to an account?

Hi,

You can create a custom field of type "Relate" (relate "Accounts" module)using Studio found under Admin panel.
