Export custom modules and import them to a different version

Good morning,

I've been trying to export modules from one version of Sugar (5.2) and import them to a different plataform (for another company), which version is 6.2.4. The question is... can I do that? Because the Module Loader seems to install them and everything's fine, but I don't get to see the modules (I even went to the 'Display Module Tabs and Subpanels' and I couldn't find the modules names there).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How did you export modules from 5.2?

Yeah, it sounds like maybe you 'Exported' the module which means that when you load it in the new system it will only exist in the Module Builder and will not actually be 'installed'. You could go to the module builder in the new system and see if it is there, if so you should be able to simply 'deploy' it.

Yes, it was exactly as kbrill said. I needed to go to the module builder, deploy and it worked like a charm.
