Export Customizations

After reading lots of posts and trying to fix the problem i have come to a dead end and must post. I am running 5.02a fresh install, no other things added - on linux

When trying to export a customization I get a 403 forbidden error.If i only add one field and try and export, i still get this error:

You don't have permission to access /custom/modulebuilder/packages.......

I have spent a few days trying different chmod changes based on posts which i have searched and links followed, with no positive result, any advice/suggestions would be good.

Thought I would bump this as no one has responded.

What Im trying to do is simple, maybe someone can give me help or some place to look/check please. There must be other people who have had a problem with 403 forbidden when they try to export their customization..or at least point me in the right direction of where to look.

What folder and File permissions have you set on the custom folder, it should be 755?

Yes the folder for custom is at 755.

And all other folder belong custom are they all 755, all file are 644 and the owner and group is that of your Apache user... If so try changing all permissions from custom down to 777 and see if that works.

Then it might be a permission issue or the wrong user is assigned owner, of wrong group.
