Above your list of contacts, to the left of where it counts how many records you have selected is an "actions" button. Click on that button and export should be the last option. It is cumbersome and counter intuitive in my opinion but it is there.

The actions button is also located at the bottom of your list, in the same spot.

    Tanks ,, found it.
I exported contacts to a csv file, that I imported to excel. It worked fine *smile*

The I exported calls and meetings. Importing the same way as contacts... resulted in a "mess",,, data was scrambled in excel,,, the "id" column sometimes contained regular text,, like descriptions and so on.....

    Can this be a bug?

Is there no one that can verify that the export function, for calls, scrambles data????

    Hello,

If you have your system List separator is set as semicolon ( ; ) and Sugar delimiter set to comma ( , ) you can change the delimiter for sugar from comma ( , ) to semicolon( ; ) through Admin > Locale Settings > Export Settings > Export Delimiter, set it to ( ; )

And then you can export and check the file in MS Excel with columns well separated.
    Thumbs up.

    Hello,

In what application you are trying to access the exported file?

    Hi ,

After export , open your file in spreadsheet , separator options should be
separated by => comma or tab
    Text delimiter => "

if i kept separated by option blank ( neither comma nor tab ) then i got the same format you ppl are reporting
Please find attached screen shot for better understanding

    This may help
    Regards
