Yea, I know but I have a client who has asked us to help him migrate away from SugarPRO to another solution. I need some guidance on how to get everything out of sugar so the new vendor can import it.

How technical are you?

Fairly, should be ok. Hit me.
Hit me too please. We're giving up on sugar after a year of suffering.
Why not hitting export in phpmyadmin and choose csv and file (at the very bottom)? The mapping afterwards (to the other product) will be the much bigger task.

That does nothing for the attachments and related items. It's quite complex really.
Nobody said that it is easy.
Attachments you'll find under cache/uploads and the references are in table notes. No idea what you mean by related items though.

Exporting from phpmyadmin is not working very well. While the export is much better then the sugar export tool not everything is kept in the same table. Contacts for example, does not have the information that ties them to the related accounts. This is proving to be very complex. Any other suggestions or guidance?
Account<->Contacts relationship data will be available in accounts_contacts table.
Indeed, Sugar uses relationship tables for that. This is a very common method in relational databases when implementing many-to-many relationships. I don't want to put you into place but from the answers you're giving I think you would need a database book to achieve this nicely. I'm sure there are lots of guys here who are willing to handle it for you though..
