Exporting data from Sugar os and importing it to Sugar pro

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to export the current data from a Sugar CRM 4.5.0f open source database and import it to a Sugar CRM Pro 4.5.1d database.

The Professional edition has already some data in it. So, during this data transfer I would like to make sure that the existing data should not be overwritten with the newly importing data.

Also, I would like to ask you if I need to import data as well as structure from os to the prof edition.

They have a patch that brings OS version to PRO version and it should handle everything for you.
I'd go that route so you don't have to do any tricky conversion or dup checking.

Thanks for your reply. But at the moment, I am not thinking of upgrading. Because, I have already some data in my existing Pro version to which I want to import data from the os version. So, any other recommendations/suggestions pls?
