Exporting Emails

Hello everyone,

I'm new to Sugar so apologies if this has been answered before. I've looked on the forums but I can't seem to find an answer to my question. Basically, we have been using sugar on our server for 6 months or so. However we have since decided to go to sugar on demand. Ok, I've managed to export from the server to sugar on demand no problem by using the export and then import routines. However, I don't know how to export the actual emails that are assigned to contacts in the history section and then import them into sugarondemand. Any help would be most appreciated. Many Thanks.

Rather than import and export ... can you not get a dump of the database and the application and migrate them both to your new server ... then all the relationships will be maintained ... MUCH easier that trying to recreate

Many thanks for your reply salesagility, much appreciated, I can certainly dump the database, but we are using sugarondemand, i.e. on sugar's servers, it is possible to upload a dump of the database to sugar's servers?
