Hi all,
I'm working on getting my company up to speed with sugar and I'm learning the ins and outs as we implement it in various parts of our company. Right now, the marketing team is using the leads we have in sugar for their mailing list. (Copy and pasting the info from sugar to their letters) This is slow, so I'm working on helping speed the process up.
I'm looking for a way to convert a CSV file to a vCard (I've found web based editors, but really, this is someone's confidential information and I don't think it's appropriate to risk it like that)
Or if anyone is familiar with Apple's "Pages" word editor, that would be good too. Pages doesn't allow a real csv doc to be used, I have to make it a .numbers file (Apple's version of excell) but after I do that, Pages tells me to "Please select a Numbers document that has one or more named header columns and one or more rows of data"
The CSV file has 20 contacts in it, so I'm not sure what it's asking for exactly, because I have 20 rows with data.
Or does sugar have a mail merge/form generator function? I looked for this briefly, but nothing looked like it fit the bill.
If anyone has ideas on this, perhaps I'm going about this the wrong way, or you happen to know a fix to any of the above courses of action, your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
