Exporting Relationships

Hi

I created two custom modules SOW and Sow_RevenueForecast . I also created a one to many relationsship between them. Now I have to export these two modules to another sugarcrm instance. I exported both modules and the customizations done on them . But the relationship does not appear to be exported . What should I do ? Please guide me.

What did you do? Did you create your modules plus relationship in module builder and deployed them directly? Or did you build your modules outside? And how did you export? With the export function in studio?

If you did create modules and relationship in studio you can easily save (=publish) the entire package and install it somewhere else via the module loader. Exporting in studio won't take the relationships afaik, you need to reestablish them (what is not really a big deal as long as there is no data involved).

Thank you for the response.

I have done the following process to create the modules

1. Created both modules in module builder

2. Deployed them by clicking 'Deploy' button in Module builder.

3. Then I came to Studio , added a number of custom fields to both modules and then added the relationship between them.

Now to export both modules to another instance I followed the following process.

1. From module builder I clicked on 'Publish' to publish both modules and installed them on new sugar instance.

2. Then From the studio I exported the customization on both modules and installed the same on the new sugar instance (But relationships are not exported)
