Exporting in SugarCRM confusion

To anyone that can please help me. How do I export filters out of SugarCRM so that I can send them to a mailer?

I need to filter contacts by various parameters (i.e. Country, Address, City, Interest, Description) and then be able to export a list to Excel as a spreadsheet so I can print that out.

Anyone know how to go about this??

Provided you haven't turned exports of in the config and ACLs, just bring up the filtered list in a listview and click on the export link at either the top or bottom left of the list.
