[SIZE=2When I try to set up external email box to get mail from there and to compose email by it - errors eppear. Is it possible to use external mailbox with sugarcrm installed locally on computer? I suppose there would no problem, if it had been installed on hosting: there is sendmail and other features. But cheap hosting providers do not provide mysql 5 and PHP features such as json and so on.
So, I use local installation of sugarCRM on localhost, win platform: apache 2.0 + mysql 5. It is ok, work good, except for email
servername = localhost (in httpd.conf)
Mail Transfer Agent: SMTP
Compose email using this client: SugarCRMClient
ERRORS:
Inbound Email Setup: xxxxxx@gmail.com
"use ssl" is checked
I press save and get "No Optimums were saved with your inbound email mailbox. Please review the settings"
And I can not get any email accordingly - system just hung up when I press "Check my emails"
May be this is because my local apache server does not have ssl support?
