Extra fields are appearing in Edit mode

Hi there,

When I edit a Contacts record, fields are displayed that are nowhere to be seen in the Edit Layout. The fields are City, State, Postcode and Country. How do I get rid of them so they don't appear when I go to edit a Contacts record? To repeat, in the Edit Layout, these fields appear neither in the Layout nor the Toolbox. So WHY are they showing up when I go to edit a Contact?

Can you provide a screen shot of EditView of Contacts module? And clarify exactly what you want to do?

Unfortunately I can't provide the screen shot, but this might offer a clue:

I am using the field "Primary address" which I thought was a single field. But Is this some sort of special field that automatically pulls in a city, state and postcode?

I requested the screen shot to make sure that.
You can do the following:

• Edit the script custom/modules/Contacts/metadata/editviewdefs.php
• Look for "primary_address_street" and remove the attribute "type";

I have temporarily resolved the problem by creating an entirely new text field for the street address, but can someone please explain what is going on here?

Why do the Details and Edit Layouts of the *same module* sometimes show a different set of fields? I'm talking about the full set of available fields in each layout, whether they appear in the Toolbox or on the Layout. Why are these not exactly the same, 100% of the time? (Again, I am not referring to the difference in the positioning of these fields, but simply which fields are available). Eg, "Primary Address Street" shows up as an available field in my Edit Layout for Contacts, but is nowhere to be found in my Details Layout for the same module. It is neither in the Toolbox nor the Layout.

Secondly, why are some of the fields that show up in the Layouts for Contacts, nowhere to be seen when you go to Admin-> Studio -> Contacts -> Fields? *Where are these fields*, and where can I configure them?
