Extremely slow deleting emails in sugarcrm email

Hello all,
i have a several users in sugar.
One of users have great difficulty to delete emails in hes inbox.
deleting single email sometimes takes more then 1 minute, and sometimes popup window with message "Perfoming task..' hang out forever.
Email is deleted eventually, but you must reload page to see that email is not in Inbox anymore.
other users does not experiencing that problem.
Any idea what could be a reason?

I have the same problem , I'm using sugarCRM 6.4.0 RC2 and for every mail that I try to delete it's taking 10 -15 seconds.

Anyone knows what I can do to solve ???

Yes, for me - this remains the last SLOW function after upgrade to 6.3.1

Everything else is MUCH speedier - so that's good.

You might want to check that your sugarcrm's cache directory is assigned to the same owner and group as your web server.

This was mentioned in the sugar install notes, and I paid no heed to it, until I had lots of small bugs remaining.

So, for example, if your web server process is owned by root, go to your sugarcrm top level directory (as a superuser) and

chown -R root: cache

The colon after root means not only assign the user ownership of root to all the cache files, but also give the cache files the same group ownership. The color means "inherit group"

This solved all my undefined and other squirrley "object" problems and increased speed further.

Thxs , I tried this but the system does the same. When I delete one message need 8-10 seconds to delete it.It's too long...

Anything else to do ?

Are there ane non-ASCII chars in the name of the trash folder?
(E.g. in german the TRASH folder is often name "Gelöschte Objekte")

The same problem here, it is the only bugaboo remaining in my 6.3 installation. It's annoying, because I basically wait to the weekend and do housecleaning of the email then. Deleting a single email can take 10-15 seconds.
