Fatal Error

I am getting kind of frustrated because normally I can figure things out myself. I have webhosting with fatcow.com and they offer the add-on for sugarCRM which I need in order to organize my client database. Initially I am able to log on, but when it asks me to select a Time Zone, I select the correct one and this message pops up.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class DateTime in /hermes/web07/b1244/moo.prostoneservices/clients/modules/Calendar/DateTime.php on line 29

I have repeatedly tried to change the Time Zone but this message keeps reappearing. I have even manually deleted the directory from my fatcow account and reinstalled the application several times. Nothing seems to work, can anyone help me with this?

For future reference, it easier for us to help you if you share details such as which version of Sugar you are using, version of PHP, etc.

Based on what you have shared, the only issue that crosses my mind is an incompatibility with older versions of PHP and Sugar. I think it affected 4.5 and 5.0, can't remember for sure.

In any case, assuming it is that problem, upgrading to the latest version of Sugar and a compatible version of PHP would correct it.

Thank you for responding, sorry for the lack of information, I dont use forums very often. I have tried to upgrade Sugar through the webhost but has failed, I believe this is a problem on their end. I will contact them when I get the chance. Thank you again.

Don't forget about investigating the version of PHP as well.

Only upgrading Sugar may put you in a situation where the DateTime issue is resolved, but you encounter another problem because the version of PHP is not compatible with the newer Sugar. You'd only be trading one problem for another.
