I'm pretty new to CRM, and web hosted environments. So let start with an apology if this is something that should be straight forward, but I just don't "see" it.
Let me start off by saying that I'm on shared hosting (bluehost) and I've used their recommended (simple scripts) to get SugarCRM all set up. I can access (edit, etc) accounts, leads, contacts, etc - so I think everthing is working fineUNTIL...
So I see a "module" that I want to add on (in this case SalesView). I download it, and then proceed over to the Module Loader and upload. Then I hit Install...
I'm going to attach the full message - but the part that seems to be bad is:
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 89 bytes)..."
If I go over to account or leads tabs I can see SalesView there and it seems to work (more or less) like I thought it would - but not fully. I expect the problem is that it didn't actually complete something on the install because of the memory issue. Unfortunately when I go back to the Module Loader it isn't in the top portion so that I can uninstall it. If I do click on the install again I get two copies of it on the account/leads screens and deleting the package seems to have no effect at all.
The original error I got says something about memory, so I go over to the documentation and I can see:
"Memory Requirements: Increase the value of the memory_limit parameter in the php.ini file as follows:
• MySQL Server: 96M or higher "
So I go back to my site and look for a php.ini file, and I can't find anything. Either I'm looking in the wrong places, or I don't have access to it on shared hosting... So I guess at this point I either need to know how to actually increase the memory OR I need to know how to uninstall the SalesView module.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
