Fatal error: Allowed memory size & my host not increasing

I was upgrading SugarCE 6.0.1 to 6.1.4 and right at the end I got this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 52428800 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 51 bytes) in /usr/www/users/mydomain/crm/include/utils.php on line 960

I called my host and they said that we on a shared server that has a memory max of 50MB, which means I have to be on a dedicated server which is twice what I am paying. Is there any alternative means that i can complete the upgrade?
