"Fatal Error: Call to Undefined Function" when Creating New Contact (SugarCE 5.0.0b)

Hello,

I'm currently unable to enter a new contact under "Create Contact."
I get this error:


Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_validate_record_js() in /home/yourreal/public_html/crm/modules/Contacts/EditView.php on line 251

The only way that I can enter a person is as "Enter Business Card." If I then click on that person's name and click on "Edit", I get the same error.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Go to Contacts
2) Click "Create Contact"

OR

2) Click on a Contact name
3) Click on "Edit"

i am having the same error in many of the modules. in sugarcrm4, that function was defined in Forms.php.
Any assistance is appreciated.

Were your sugarcrm 5.0 installation come from an upgrade process?
If yes then it could be a upgrade bug.
Check in the bug tracker if there is a bug related to that.

I hate to bump already, but it's really hard to use a CRM when you can't input contacts.

Does anybody have an answer for this? I'm just wondering whether I should delete this or not.

Something's not right here. The 5.0.0b install doesn't have that file.
