I moved sugarcrm from a development server to the production server yesterday. I had everything working from normal email to campaign emails.
The only problem that I had after I moved it was that I was not able to open Studio. It would not open anything related to Studio - including the buttons for studio. Figuring I had a permission issue, I went through and attempted permission settings on file and directories. Finally I just gave up, moved this installation of sugar to another directory and started a fresh installation.
After the installation was complete, loaded a backup of the database and was on my way. I noticed a problem with some of the sub-panel forms and rebuilt my relationships. Voila, nicely fixed. Next I checked my scheduled tasks. My cron hadn't run since earlier that day!
I signed into the server with Putty and checked my cron. It was running just fine...every minute on the minute. There was no indication it was running on Sugar's end. Tried to run it manually - ran and showed up in the scheduler log for inbound email. Checked the sugarcrm.log. Problem with the writing to the scheduler PID in the cache. Looked at the permissions - sure enough it was. Corrected the permissions and guess what...still not working. Not only was it not working - everything I viewed in Sugar was a white screen. Time to call in reinforcements. The original copy of sugar was still kicking around - I copied the cache directory into the new install of sugar. All was well, PID error was gone. Now I am stuck at the error in the subject and not being able to use the Test target list to send campaign email and this error message showing up in the log each time the cron runs.
I will also add that all email accounts have been deleted, all email in the queue has been deleted and there are no campaigns in sugarcrm either. Employee and customer information is the only thing in it.
Any thoughts?
