Default fatcow times out in 1 min,Help

I'm using fatcow web hosting service, if that helps. so I can't reboot. could this in anyway be a file or folder permissions problem? I get logged off in about 1 min of no activity and when I click on something it takes me to the login screen. my session.gc_maxlifetime is set high. I have V5.5.0

You should ask the 7/24 hotline of fatcow and if they cannot help you should use the 30-day money-back guarantee.

It could also mean that it can't create the session. The behavior you describe is very much along those lines.

If the tools they provide you with don't allow you to change the session.save_path setting, you will need to contact their support, like Harald suggested.

I solved my problem with a ping tool. I am using fire fox 3.6.4, so I downloaded an add-on called “session keeper 0.5.3” and set it to ping my CRM URL every 2mins. It’s a 3 min fix and I don’t have to deal with support reps that don’t understand the words that are coming out of my mouth lol.
    Thanks for the help guys
