From Field blank in campaign emails

Emails go out, but the recipients have no From address in the email.
I enter this information in the campaign setup, but somewhere it's getting stripped. Let me know what further information you might need.

FYI: Debian box with Apache2, php5, mysql latest

So it seems some mail services see the from information and others do not. For example my company's exchange server doesn't see the from field. This results in sending the email to the junk mail folder. But my personal mail on gmail does see it.

Why the difference?

I'm using SMTP with a product called winmail.
