field displaying differently in sub-panel

I created a new field for Targets called estimated dollar amount. This field is set up as currency, is not required, and is present in all views. The user I am logging in as has its currency view set to 0 significant digits. When I look at the Targets in list view it looks correct; $1000, for example. However, when i am looking at the Targets sub-panel under target lists (where I manually added the new field to the list view) it is displayed like this: 1000.0000.

Why would the same field be displayed differently in two different lists? It looks like the Target List sub-panel doesn't see it as currency, but the field is set up as a currency field under Targets.

Look in the custom table in the database and make sure the field type is defined correctly there.

Thanks, that took care of it.

I went into the dbo.prospects_cstm table and changed my field from a numeric scale of 6 down to 2. Looking at it on a Target was unaffected, which is good, and looking at it in the Target sub-panel of Taget Lists now has it with two decimal places. It's not the same, but it looks much better.
