Default Fields page doesn't load in Module Builder

    Hi,

I'm working on a dev environment of Sugar Pro 5.5.0. It is running on Windows with the following server components:
    Apache 2.2.14 (Win32)
    PHP 5.3.1

The system works fine, except when I try to add a new field.

If I load the module builder and go to any module (Accounts, Contacts, Calls, Opportunities, etc.) and select "Fields", the browser shows the "Loading Page" and then "Done" but nothing changes on the window (the field editor doesn't ever load.) I am able to get to the Relationships or Labels pages just fine.

I've tried in Chrome, Firefox, and IE8.

Anyone know something I can do to fix this?

    Hi,

I've seen this behaviour once before on a Sugar instance running on a Windows server.
This was when the complete install of Sugar was infected by some worm, trojan or other virus.

When checking the results of the request for the fieldnames (using FireBug on FireFox), I noticed an IFrame was send back to the client preceeding the usual content. This prevented Sugar from processing the result into the usual table of fields.

I'm not saying your system is infected by a virus, but you might want to check what results are being sent to the browser when you're trying to display the fields.

    Regards,
    Arno

Thanks for the tip, but in this instance I don't see any issues with rogue iFrames - mostly just the yui libraries which appear normal.

Any other tips on why this page fails to load?

It looks like there was a problem with my XAMPP environment that was causing this. I downgraded from XAMPP 1.7.3 for windows to XAMPP 1.6.8 and it works fine.

As can be seen here. Sugar 5.5 does not suport php 5.3.
