Default "File to install not specified" - Module Loader

    Hi,

I'm trying to use the module loader to install a module i downloaded, but I either get a HTTP 500 or "File to install not specified" if i refresh a few times. Just wondering if i was doing something wrong or anyone had any advice please?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Error 500 messages are usually indicative of configuration issues. Sometimes they are the result of .htaccess files and/or the memory_limit setting in your PHP.INI.

What steps led you to the error? Which module were you attempting to install?

    Hi, thanks for the reply..

I was installing Advanced OpenSales Quotations 3.0 for SugarCRM 6.0 - I'm new to sugar, but i downloaded a zip file, went into the module loader and browsed for the zip. I was getting timeouts on that page, but eventually the module went into the list..i.e. so that i could click on install. At that point i was getting the http 500 and the file to install not specified....however, a while after i posted..it installed eventually with much persistence!

I'm having the same issue with another module - Advanced OpenSales Products 3.0 for SugarCRM 6.0

Is there a recommended setting in php.ini that might help with this problem?

well check upload limit, script exec time, like put exec to 120 or something if it's low
