Hi,
I am only getting started with Sugar- thus using the latest version of sugar C.E (5.2).

Is it possible to filter the Sales Stage drop down based on Opportunity Type?
I am looking through the Admin -> Studio -> Drop-Down Editor
"Sales Stage" ( sales_stage_dom ) but only functionality I see here is Add / Remove / Rename / Sort ?

I’ve seen the development toolkit by André Lopes – is this what I want to use if so can someone tell me what an Artistic License means to me? Is it free or not?

Also:

When opportunities have been “closed and won” do they just sit there in the opportunities? Or should they be converted to something else and better associated with the account? I.E. is there another type of record that I am not using?

Any help or direction to relevant forum or docs much appreciated.
