Filtering the contacts by any field (ex. Department)

HOW can I make filtering the contacts by any field (ex. Department).

what u asked for can be done through studio option available in admin
first u need to login as admin then go to studio -> edit a module -> contact -> edit layout -> search form ->
in that pick up deparment field from side panel and drop it in the search form
this will do the job for u but dont forget to save and publish..
