Firefox slow - Chrome fast

I've been wrestling all week with Sugar 5.5 - emails and studio in particular. Excruciatingly slow to load, Firefox hangs with almost every action, very frequently loses the content in TinyMCE. How can this be?

Looked into Sugar logs, performance, etc. and no sign of trouble. I'm no noob and I love Sugar. I've lost sleep over this. It's impeding my ability to complete an implementation.

This morning, I tried disabling Add Ons in Firefox 3.5.6 and it made no difference. Then I tried Google Chrome and WOW! Now that's more like it. Everything is snappy and works like it should.

So if Sugar isn't performing to your expectations, I strongly suggest you give Google Chrome a try.

If you do, be aware that Chrome is not yet supported by Sugar. I like Chrome, but use firefox for sugar because Chrome and Sugar don't play nice together yet.

That's the Linux Beta version of Chrome ... the Windows version may be better.
