Force calculation on a calculated field

Good afternoon,

I have created a calculated field to add to my opportunities module however it does not automatically calculate the value unless I open every opportunity then re-save.

Is there a way to force a calculation on the field?

I do not have access to code as we are on demand.

Just define a senseless field which is massupdateable.

Then select all records and make a massupdate on this field, so all records will be opened, recalculated and saved.

I have the same question but want it to auto calculate daily as its a calculated date field.

I am trying to work out how long a member has been a member e.g. Start Date to todays date. Obviously the formula is the reverse working out the days from today until the specified date and I wanted it to work out the days from the specified date until today hence the multiplying by -1.

I dont think manually mass updating every record is valid as staff will just want to run reports on the age of members without wanting to have to mass update a senseless field.

Is there another way for the calculated field to auto update?
