Form design trouble

I am trying to add a custom field to Leads form. I had no trouble creating a custom field, but here is what's happening when I'm trying to edit form layout.
The default form is organized in 2 columns. There is a field "Description" in the bottom of the form, that spans over two columns. I also want to add a field to the form that spans over the whole form width.
When I add a line to the form, the line is added with 2 column layout. I couldn't find any option to add a line to the form that spans over 2 columns.
Is there any way to resolve the situation?

The answer to your question is yes & no.

There isnt any way of doing what you want to do in the module editor in sugar as the colums are set.

If you want to edit the collumns you will have to edit the php pages. Check out this post:
