Default Format for importing "Relate To" in tasks

    Hi,

I'm having trouble getting an Import to work correctly on the tasks module.

I have 2 accounts created: "ABC Inc." & "XYZ Corp"
I have a CSV file that looks like this:

    Account,Task
    "ABC Inc","Call ABC,Inc"
    "XYZ Corp","Call XYZ Corp"

I am trying to import these as tasks - so that the system creates a task with the subject of "Call XYZ..." and the related account is XYZ.

I am mapping the "Relate To" to my account column, but Sugar doesn't seem to pick it up. Is there a different format that I should be using? Something like "Accounts;XYZ Corp"?

    Thanks for the help!

Using Sugar5.5.0 pro on Debian Linux.

There should be a Parent Type and Parent ID field. If you set Parent Type to "Accounts" in your CSV and Parent ID to the GUID ID of the account, this should work.

Is there anyway that Sugar can try to auto-match the parent based on a text field? I know it does in the contact import, for example.

Well, I got around this by:

    1) Importing my list of accounts
    2) Exporting my list of accounts (to get the ID of each record)
    3) Using excel to create a file that had the ID of the accounts as the "Parent ID", the Parent Type of Accounts, and the data I wanted to import into tasks.
    4) Imported that file

    Everything worked perfectly!
    Thanks for the help.
