FudgePlus theme error!

Hello,

I keep getting this error when I try to install the FudgePlus-Theme-2.1.0.zip

It's probably due to having the wrong permissions on that file. Make sure the entire FudgePlus directory is writable by the webserver user (chown -R wwwuser:wwwgroup themes/FudgePlus; chmod -R ug+rw themes/FudgePlus). Replace wwwuser and wwwgroup with the approprate values.. I can't guess what they are for your system.

I was having the same error. And this fixed it.

Yes, I hope the Upgrade Wizard in 4.5 does a basic writeability check on the target files before trying to proceed.

I added this to our custom version last week, since any patch could leave the system in an intermediate state or not functional at all, after an install cut off halfway though.

Hi cywolf, I know that the Release 4.5 UW (Upgrade Wizard) has additional checks built in. The overall goal was to make it more like the installer in this respect.

I'll forward this on to the Dev team for clarification.

That's great, thanks Andy. Should help to reduce the number of complaints like this, especially if it includes instructions on how to fix the problem.
