Default General: Is there a way to create calculated filed like in the excel?

    Hi,
I want to create budget drop list ,and if one of the amount is selected I want that another filed will have value that will indicate us how much money we'll get from this deal.
Something like calculated fields in excel.
So is there a way in the Leads tab to do it?

It is possible to do it, but not through built-in capabilities.

Perhaps the easiest way to do it would be through the use of a custom field (which you can make via the built-in Studio) and then use some custom JavaScript to perform the calculation and update of the field for you.

I don't know if a module already exists, check www.sugarforge.org and www.sugarexchange.com to see if a pre-built one already exists.

Chances are that even if one does exist, it likely needs to be modified to suit your needs.

If you need someone to help you build it or make the modifications for you, you should consider hiring a SugarCRM partner to do it for you, or you can always hire SugarCRM Professional Services too.

See here for a partner directory: http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/partners/partnerfinder.html

and for SugarCRM's Professional Services: http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/services...-services.html
