    Default Getting frustrated with workflow

First let me say, I love the promise of Sugar. I have just set our company up on sugar express. However, I am getting frustrated by the workflow of importing data. Let me explain, we do two webinars per month and generate hundreds of leads. What I want to do is to import and identify each lead, which webinar, etc.. Once imported I want to run a scripted email campaign that has three scheduled mailings.

Having said that, my intuition tells me to build a target list, import each webinar attendance list to a different target list, and then use the campaigns to select which target list to work with. From that list of targets, some will turn into leads at which time I would convert them. Of those leads, some will turn into opportunities and which time I will convert them and a contact record will be created. Sound logical? What am I missing? I cannot figure out the right sequence to make this work.

    hi there

The best way would be tu use the web to lead form per campaign. that way you could get your workflow to send mails as the person completes the web to lead form. else the target list is the right way to go.

    cheers

    Hello,
Check out our two add on modules to help you with your workflow needs. Process Manager and Marketing Manager from SierraCRM.

Process Manager will allow you to setup a simple workflow process in which you can send an email upon initial lead import, then another email a few days later, and still another email a few weeks later. A very flexible module. Demos can be viewed at www.sierracrm.com.

    Thanks
