Default Where is the Edit Button??

1st of all I am as ignorant as they come in regards to software, programming and so forth; apologies in advance for my fumbling-around as well as thanks to those who might be responding.

Having thought thatCRM applications were an overkill for my needs (small company, 1 salesman here), I admittedly reverted to the trusty old spreadhseet but a larger data size and a forthcoming additional sales employee have made me reconsider. I pulled down the latest version of Sugar but can't seem to find the 'Edit in Place' button, previously found within the 'Field Layout' Sub-Section under the section 'Studio' in 'Admin'.

I usually switch 'Pipeline by Sales Stage' to Products, and 'Lead Source by Outcome' to Industry, in this way having a rudimentary way to visually compare monthly sales performance as well as which areas of the market need working within.

Without the edit button, I can do this, but the 2nd, hidden 'Accounts' screen cannot be customized any longer.
I'm not sure how to explain what I mean here but what I am trying to say is that basically you need to edit the visual as well as the core module, and not having the 'edit' button disallows one from so doing. I therefore have to access the standard accounts screen prior to being able to input the data in the modified module.

Any suggestions please (apart from switching back to .xls)?

    Best rgds.
