Default Gmail Imap Multiple outgoing in "from" dropdown

I want to be able to use multiple addresses in "from" dropdown box in sugarcrm Version 5.2.0 (Build 5380) email module.

    What i've done:

    - I have made several gmail accounts for users
    - each gmail account is imap enabled
    - each gmail account has several smtp boxes which are handled by gmail
    - each smtp box has a corresponding "label" (folder) in gmail
    - when a client replies to a smtp address, a filter redirects that mail to the corresponding "label"
    - each gmail account is IMAP configured in the email module of a specific sugarcrm user account
    - The gmail "labels" are recognized as folders in sugarcrm

    the above works perfectly

I also want to use all the gmail smtp boxes i made for the outgoing mail.

    What I tried:

    - I successfully added multiple gmail smtpservers in the email settings of the email module.
But these dont appear in the from field.

    - I went to admin => accounts and added the addresses for eacht account, setting one of the addresses to default, another to "reply-to" and the rest I left blank.
This also didnt do the trick

So I almost got a perfectly working mail system in CRM, but for these outgoing boxes that im stuck on.

Maybe the solution is very simple, but i cant seem to find it online.

Maybe my question was too long, it all boils down to the next 2 questions:

Can i have more then 2 email addresses under "FROM" dropdown box per user in sugarcrm Version 5.2.0 (Build 5380)? Ifso, how?
(we have users that represent multiple companies)

    sorry for the bump

Under "admin" => "user management" make new useraccounts with status "inactive". The inactive status will prevent the email adressess from showing up under the "assigned to" list of an opportunity, quote etc..

Dont know if thats the way to go.. but it works.

    Good luck!
