I have no problem using gmail for inbound mail, however Google requires TLS for it's SMTP server, and there is no option for this when setting up outbound mail, has anyone run into this or have any possible solution?
I have no problem using gmail for inbound mail, however Google requires TLS for it's SMTP server, and there is no option for this when setting up outbound mail, has anyone run into this or have any possible solution?
I just had to check the "Use SMTP Authentication?" box and fill in my username/password.
But I am not able to set the Inbound Email using my gamil account.
My configurations are:
SugarSuite-42.0d
Linux- Fedora2
Apache-2
Mail server address: pop.gmail.com
Mail server protocol: pop3
Mail server port: 995
Status: active
Use SSL: checked
Leave messages on server: checked
Test setting throwing the error:
Connection failed to gmail-pop.l.google.com,995: Connection refused
Please check your settings and try again.
Can you please point me the right settings.
Thanks
