Exclamation GMAIL via IMAP seems to connect but no email inbound email visible

    Hi,

I am running the windows install of Sugar 5.2j. I can send emails via SMTP just fine in Sugar, but after setting up my inbound email with my gmail settings (using the correct port number, SSL on, etc), I cannot view any emails in the Sugar email client.

The connection seems to work in the Admin -> Inbound email -> Test settings and Sugar also seems to be able to 'see' my Gmail folders. So, I think it is setup correctly, it just will not sync with Gmail.

I don't think it is a port issue, per se, as I put my windows box on the DMZ of my router, so all ports should be available to it (and still no luck).

All of the php-imap extensions are enabled in php.ini, and the php-imap.dll is in the correct extension folder.

In the install, I set my SSL port to 444 (since I guess Sugar couldn't find to port 443). Could this have something to do with it? Is there a way to change it back to 443?

Does anyone have any ideas of what to do next or something else I can check??? I had this working on a different version of sugar before (I believe it was either 5.0 or 5.5 beta 2, though I'm not sure which). Help!!

Here is the Admin -> Inbound Email settings page showing the apparently successful settings test.

And here is where the issue is: no emails are visible (even though there are at least 5 or so in the gmail account...). No error messages are given, just no messages ever displayed...

After reviewing the error log, I also get a bunch of these errors:

[Fri Sep 25 00:52:14 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\\Program Files\\sugarcrm-5.2.0j\\htdocs\\sugarcrm\\modules\\InboundEmail\\I nboundEmail.php on line 6001, referer: http://127.0.0.1:81/sugarcrm/index.p...s&action=index

    Hi,

Did you ever get a solution for this problem.
I am having the same issues and an irrational behaviour of the builtin email client.

    Thanks.

I have same sort of problem.

In my case it has to do with a certificate: This is the error I get when I setup the inbound mail account:

Certificate failure for mail.mydomain.com: self signed certificate: /C=XX/ST=XX/L=XX/O=XX/OU=XX/CN=web108.your-webhost.nl/emailAddress=webmaster@web108.your-webhost.nl

    Outbound mail is working oké.

I googled the entire web, but nog solution found.
If anyone can help me to switch of the Cert. check. or give me (us) a solution. It would be great.

    Edwin.

I have the same problem as cool_justin on Version 5.5.1 (Build 1202). Any idea what might cause the problem? Please help.
