Google Connector only one way...?

I've installed the Google Connector plugin but it only seems to put new events to the calendar. Does it not pull events from the Google calendar too?

I would look at the docs but there are none and not much in the forum for the plugin either.

I'm using:
Sugar Community Version 5.2.0c (Build 5505)
Debian 4.0
Apache 2
PHP 5

Would really appreciate any help.

Could you provide the link to the Google Connector you are using?

You might get lucky by checking the manifest.php (towards the end). Didn't try it myself though.

The Google connector (assuming that you're referring to the Project of the Month) is only one-way. In the forums, the author says that syncing from Google back to Sugar is not planned in the next 1-6 months.

I think there is another Google project that syncs from Google back to Sugar.

I can't get the connector to work at all thought. You're lucky if it's working for you. ;-)

Ah - I was hoping it was 2-way. But nevermind I've found a patch called: FidelGoogleCalendarEventImporterPatch

Unfortunately I can't seem to install it via the Module installer area. I looked in the SugarCRM upgrade area but that won't accept it either.

Am I missing something? How do I install patches? I may be being an idiot because if its a code patch then I just overwrite files but the fact that many of the files are in their own directory with a "manifest.php" file at the root.

Apologies for the silly questions but I'm just getitng into this and the documentation/system is huge but we need it up & running yesterday.

I've installed the patch but there's no text. Its as if its not picking up the updated language file.

ANy ideas what this could be?

Hi,

I am a SugarCRM Partner in spain and we are also trying to configure a Google sync to SugarCRM.
We downloaded the FidelGoogleCalendarEventImporterPatch, but when uploading it through the Module Loader we get an error message:
You can only upload module packs, theme packs, and language packs on this page.

Is there some kind of another plugin for sugarcrm that syncs Google Calendar and SugarCRM both ways?
Can some1 help please?

You can install this zip in module loader.
