Default Group email , IMAP, problem

    Hello
Ive got problem with Group Email in SugarCRM v6.

    1. I set up new Inbound email in Admin Page
    2. IMAP over SSL, login passwd, folders etc. ,
    3. Test Settings: Connection completed successfully.
    4. But under Folders in Email Tab there are no emails, no imap folders etc.

When i setup normal email - everything works without any problems.
    Any solution??

    Greetings
    5hinka

i think you need to setup cron job for it. if you havent just
    goto:
    admin >> scheduler

    and follow this post http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62730

    Hi,

    I have a similar problem.

I'm using version 6.0.2 (latest) and I added a group email, all tests are fine, created the cron, all is working fine as well.

The problem is that I only see one email (received a couple of minutes ago). I'm sure cron is working fine, every five minutes, the cron history confirms, but I cannot pull all the old messages.

If I add the same account as an individual email account, all emails are downloaded to Sugar (1060 emails) but not with the group.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

    Any help please????

My scheduler is always showing "fail" and I believe that is because my Gmail has TOO many emails or something.

How can I just extract all emails from my GApps?

    Thanks

I`m having exactly the same problem with our hosted version. Can add our support email as a private mail but when adding it as a group email, no emails show up.

    Please help!

I have a similar problem, but simply the test window hangs. Also the select button for setting the monitored folders pops up a window which just hangs instead of providing a folder list.
I have been able to connect a group email account to another imap email, but not to gmail.
    Any ideas?

This might be a communication problem. Check your firewall if it is connecting to the SSL Gmail servers.
You can check this post: http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showt...506#post231506

In the meanwhile... I can't have the IMAP working on my system at all! The emails are not there...
    Any help?

    We had the same problem,

    1) we noticed it only pulls in unread mails
    2) when it started importing the emails it takes much longer then doing it for a personal account
    3) if often stops importing and we have to manually disable, enable the job to start it up again

So, this seems that is a problem with Sugar? Or is it an extra configuration in the server needed?

    If anyone can help...

    Thanks

I cannot get any emails to come into group folders. I have no problem getting emails into a personal folder or a group folder that creates a case. I am trying to get emails into a bounce handling group folder without success. I have searched through the forum, found lots of questions about groups not receiving emails with various versions but NO solutions!

Any help would be appreciated. Somebody must know something, please!

Using SugarCRM CE Version 5.5.0 (Build 6653)
    cheers
    Paul
