Hi everyone.
I'm trying to figure out a way tto be able to add leads, contacts, or accounts and group them to a group or category.
Say a company goes to several trade shows every year and wants to send a mailer out to all their leads who attended a specific trade show. You can add them all as leads but I don't see a way to differentiate or group the leads.
When creating the lead, I see the drop down box for "Lead Source" which has several pre-defined options, but nothing custom the user could specify (such as the name of the trade show they came from, or an
association they are a member of, etc). I then see the "Referred By" field which one could put in the name of the trade show or name of person who referred that lead, but unfortunately I don't see a way to filter by that in the Leads search results.
The end goal is to be able to filter and export only leads/contacts/accounts that are part of a certain group to do
mailings to specific people/groups and not always everyone at once.
Is there anything already built-in to Sugar that could help do this or plans to do something like groups for leads/contacts/accounts in the future?
