Hey folks
Been working on migrating our custom CRM/Tracking program to SugarCRM. Here's the situation I keep running into.
We have many locations, and we may assign a task (repair) at one of our locations with a certian status (no biggie). Any employee at that location can see the different items and what status they are currently in. Having each employee get their own log in lets everyone know who did what, but anyone within that location can see anything that is going on for that location.
Unfortunately the grouping feature I see so far is only related to e-mails. Back in the old days of another software company I worked at, there was so much going on, sometimes we could use a certian functions for another purpose and get by solving the problem. Browsing the forums I haven't read anything so far that would clue me in to a solution.
Any one have any thoughts, or is this one of those 'build your own module or request the enhancement' deals?

This kind of also brings up a bigger question about how others handle scalability. With multiple locations (like having multiple cost centers) How do you best keep your employees and their functions grouped and kept segregated from others.
