    Default guide for module builder?

I realize for most of you the module builder is a simple tool for quick and easy additions to SugarCRM. For some of us, SugarCRM is not our main focus, and we are mostly lost at creating the simplest customization.

I want to be able to pull reports out of SugarCRM for simple things like # of calls made this week/month, or # of sales made. Some of this I can find in the Dashboard which is great, but some of it I can't.

Is there a simple guide on how to create a simple query like # of calls marked "held" between X and Y that I can put on the Dashboard so that we can print the dashboard once a week and keep the boss happy?

    Thanks

You should look at ZuckerReports and iReport if you want to do simple reporting.

The Community Edition does not have a reporting module, so if you require different reports, you'll either need to invest some time in understanding the above (or other) tools, or pay someone to write some custom reports for you.

While this wasn't the answer I was looking for, it IS the answer I needed. Sometimes I get too close to the project and forget to look around.

    Thanks.
