Help adding existing field from different module.

Hi,

I am trying to add "Member Of" field from Account to Contacts Detail List. Can someone show me how to do this?

in studio

create a field on the contact module
data type = Relate
field name = member_of

go to layouts
listview and move member_of field from hidden to either available or default

You could created a field which value is rendered by a function, and then program the code to render the desired value. You could base on this example: http://developers.sugarcrm.com/tutor...AgingField.pdf
