Help with adding new contact fields into search/contact form

Hello everyone,

this is my first question here. I've tried to find answer but unsuccessfully so I've decided to ask.

My boss wants me to add a new fields in tho a contact tab when entering a new business card. The new fields also has to be added to a search when searching through contacts.

So basically I have to find out how to add new fields to contacts (which I did in admin-studio-fields but they did not appear in the enter business card form) and add these newly created fiealds as additional search criteria.

Is it possible? Can anyone please explain me how to do it? thank you!

You will need to go back to studio and instead of click on Fields, click on Layout. You may have to add your new fields to the layout of the business cards. They do not automatically show up when you add the fields.

Not 100% sure about how to add as search criteria but if you go to Administration > Global Search. That's where you set the search settings for the system.
