Default Help!!! Bad data passed in

I'm using SugarCRM 4.5e + Chinese language pack 4,5d. If I logged in with Chinese as preferred language, and tried to create a new call or new meeting in the calendar module, once I wrote the subject and clicked the button "Save", it always gave me an error message" Bad data passed in; Return to Home". But if I logged in with English as preferred language, it's fine. Can anyboday give me a help? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like the language pack is not complete. It may be missing substitutions that are in the english language pack.

I have the same issue, but it happens for me when I try to open some of my old archived emails.

The error started appearing after I updated Sugar to ver. 4.2.1d it seems.

I am using the English language pack only on the system.

What can I do to correct this error?

    Best regards

    Sean

Is there sugarcrm.log benerated? I guess a wrong GET data is passed to index.php but I'm not sure why it happened.

    Sugar Open Source ver. 4.2.1d
OS is Linux Red Hat 3
    MySQL 4.0.20-standard
And finally I am running an Apache webserver, although I don't know which version number.

I believe the problem started after som Sugar files were mistakenly copied from a development site to the production site (not by me).

    Hi
I found some Chinese language packs translated the 'moduleListSingular' array in include/language/<locale>.lang.php by mistake. This array should not be translated. Once translated, many weird things like "Bad data passed..." happens. How is your language pack?
